Frequently Asked Questions

Where do we ship to?

We don’t want anyone to miss out! We ship all over the world, please contact us for a freight price outside of Australia.

How much does shipping cost?

Our shipping is a flat rate of $11.90 Australia wide. For orders over $49.95 the shipping is on us! If you live outside of Australia freight costs will vary. Please contact us for prices.

How long will it take for your order to arrive?

All orders will be dispatched from our warehouse in Byron Bay within 48 hours. We then pass them on to our trusty friends at Startrack, Australia Post or Gilders Logistics that will take 2-5 business days to deliver depending on your location.

What if your order is damaged?

All of our products are high standard and quality control checked before they leave our warehouse. If for unforeseen circumstances your item is damaged in transit, please contact us and we will replace them.

What’s with all the foam beans in the packaging!?

We’re glad you asked! Like everything at Byron Bay Cleaning Co our little packing peanuts are 100% environmentally friendly. Made out of wheat and corn starch they are biodegradable, compostable and even edible- although we don’t recommend adding these to your breakfast routine. Simply dispose of them in your compost, green waste bin, or garden and watch them help your plants grow!

Are we chemical free?

We don’t use any harsh chemicals in any of our products. Not even a little bit. All of our products are organically derived from plant and mineral-based ingredients. No pesticides, no additives, nothing nasty.

What are the ingredients?

We don’t hide anything. You can find our Ingredient Data Sheet here.

Why do some of our products have the same ingredients?

Different percentages and dilutions of ingredients will produce a different result. Think about baking! Our ingredients are just like the eggs and flour, adding one extra ingredient and using different ratios creates our very diverse product range.

Are our products anti-bacterial?

All of our products contain natural anti-bacterial properties, but the real stand out is our range that kills 99.9999% of germs and bacteria. Our All Purpose cleaner & disinfectant, Non-Alcohol Hand Sanitiser, Bathroom/Floor Cleaner & Disinfectant, Pet Spray Odour & Germ Eliminator, Fruit & Veggie Sanitising Wash, RV/Camper & Boat Germicidal Wash, Yoga Mat Sanitiser and Gym Sanitiser have all been tested and proven in the internationally respected Eurofins laboratories to have a 99.9999% reduction on bacteria within 30 seconds of application, safe guarding the surface for up to 24 hours.

Why all the 9’s in 99.9999%?

It sounds excessive, but there is a reason behind all the 9’s. Most every-day super market products are only 99.9% or 99.99%. The difference between those extra 9’s is a lot- 4 times more to be precise! 99.9999% is the highest rate of disinfection currently available, we have achieved this by only using plant and mineral-based ingredients. We don’t like to brag, but there is no other product available like that! The only other cleaner that works as effectively as ours are harsh chemicals, and we know how bad they are for you and the environment.

Are our products safe for children/pregnant women/sensitive skin?

We don’t discriminate, our products are safe to use on all ages, all skin types, pregnant and breastfeeding women.

Do our products contain sulphates, parabens, SLES or SLS?

Nope, none.

Where do we manufacture our products?

We manufacture all our products right here in the Bay. Our ingredients are all sourced in Australia and our formulas are made North of Sydney.

Are we Vegan/Cruelty free?

We love the environment and everything that inhibits it. We do not test any of our products on animals and our entire range is suitable for vegans.

Do we use Palm Oil?

The production of palm oil can have devastating effects on the environment. None of our products contain Palm Oil. We use ethically sourced coconut oil.

How do we support the environment?

$1 from every order goes to the Seabin charity. Seabin is literally that- a bin in the sea that collects trash, oil, fuel and detergents to help keep our oceans clean. You can find out more information on their website
